Jody Zimmermann Balke, DVM
A general practitioner at Webster Groves Animal Hospital, Dr. Jody Zimmermann-Balke grew up in Sussex County, New Jersey. She attended Rutgers University and received her Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science in 1999. Her veterinary education brought her to the University of Missouri, and she was awarded her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. Her professional interests include emergency medicine. Dr. Zimmermann-Balke is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the Greater St. Louis Veterinary Medical Association, the Missouri Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association.
When she's not at the hospital, Dr. Zimmermann-Balke enjoys camping, fishing, hiking, reading, cooking and spending time with her husband, Mike, and their son, Kaleb. Her animal companions include Ted, a German Shepherd, and a cat named Chick.
